Bishop’s Stortford Means Business 2025

The Bishop’s Stortford BID will be at the BSMB exhibition on Wednesday 22nd October 2025 at South Mill Arts from 10am – 4pm. This is your chance to make new contacts, meet clients face to face, attend seminars and to discover new suppliers all in one day. The event is FREE to attend for visitors. ​You can turn up on the day, or to save time you can pre-book. There will be seminars on offer throughout the day, which are all FREE to attend. Christmas Fayre 2025 – 6th December

Join us at the Christmas Fayre on Saturday 6th December 2025 from 9.30am until 4.30pm, in North Street, Market Square, Potter Street, and South Street, all of which will be pedestrianised. Over 100 stalls will complement the regular traders from our Thursday and Saturday Market as well as the monthly Farmer’s and Craft Market. You will be able to explore an exciting array of unique handmade gifts stalls, selling jewellery, candles, health and beauty products, and much more. Festive Fun Day 2025 – Save the date!

Our Christmas launch event will take place on Sunday 16th November 2025, 12-4pm. Expect music and dancing from local community groups in Market Square, plus free face painting, festive giveaways and Christmas cheer by the bucket load across the town centre. There will be plenty of mince pies, hot chocolate, mulled wine and fizz to get you in the Christmas spirit. Check out what businesses have to offer this Christmas. Hot Pod Yoga Coming Soon!

The UK’s largest yoga business is set to open a brand new studio in Bishop’s Stortford. Located at Unit 2 in the Anchor Street Leisure Park, alongside Ace of Lanes, Nuffield Health and the soon-to-open Roxy Cinema, the new Hotpod Yoga studio will formally open in winter 2025 under the direction and ownership of Brenda Koesterman and Nicola Batten. 70 Years of Trading

Happy birthday to Barnes Flooring who are celebrating 70 years of trading! Third generation owner, Sarah Barnes and family (pictured here with some of the team), are quite rightly proud of this fantastic achievement. Barnes has long been known for offering flooring at the cutting edge of design and sustainability, as well as long-establised names and highly experienced fitting services.
