Hot Pod Yoga Coming Soon!

Posted: 02/09/2025

The UK’s largest yoga business is set to open a brand new studio in Bishop’s Stortford.

Located at Unit 2 in the Anchor Street Leisure Park, alongside Ace of Lanes, Nuffield Health and the soon-to-open Roxy Cinema, the new Hotpod Yoga studio will formally open in winter 2025 under the direction and ownership of Brenda Koesterman and Nicola Batten.

Brenda and Nicola are behind Hotpod Yoga Bishop’s Stortford, blending global wellness expertise with soulful teaching. Brenda, founder of Destination Wellness, brings a rich background in Ayurveda, yoga, and holistic retreats. Nicola, director of Hotpod Yoga Saffron Walden since 2016, leads with compassion and connection, inspiring students through her grounded, expressive style. Their partnership began in 2022 and flourished into a shared mission: to create inclusive, transformative yoga experiences that help people reconnect with themselves—on and off the mat.

To celebrate the launch of the new studio, and welcome new people to Hotpod Yoga’s renowned concept, Brenda and Nicola will be hosting a series of complimentary taster classes, firstly reaching out to local businesses and then to former members of the Saffron Walden studio. These classes will be followed by an open weekend of free classes for the community to discover the feeling of Hotpod Yoga.

Commenting on the studio opening, Nicola, said: “Ever since opening Hotpod Yoga in Saffron Walden there was the goal of throwing our arms wider and Bishop’s Stortford was always a huge part of that vision. Now that it’s finally here and with Brenda joining the team to share her huge font of expertise and experience in the fitness industry, I know we’re perfectly equipped to make our studio a haven for health and wellness for all. I’m looking forward to helping more people feel great through the practice of yoga.”

Hotpod Yoga Bishop’s Stortford becomes the latest member of the Hotpod Yoga family. Launched in 2013, the company has grown to become the UK’s largest yoga business with over 65 studios nationwide, and plans to expand further. Hotpod Yoga has worked with world-leading inflatable experts, top architects and heating consultants to create patented pods which sit inside its permanent studios. The pods form an immersive yoga environment that is regulated at 37 degrees, deepening the effects of a typical yoga class.

Brenda continued: “Hotpod Yoga is a one-of-a-kind experience that caters to all levels. It’s much more than just a yoga class – it’s an immersive, multi-sensory experience that feels a million miles from the everyday. Glowing lights, rhythmic beats, aromatic scents, all wrapped up in a comfortable 37°C heat.”

“Some people leave a class feeling energised and ready to start the day, while others leave feeling calm and relaxed. Whichever feeling you’re looking for, the pod will be a true oasis in Bishop’s Stortford, and everyone is welcome.”

Following the free classes for the opening weekend, an Intro Offer of £20 for 10 consecutive days of unlimited yoga will be available. For those who wish to continue their Hotpod Yoga experience, a range of attendance options will be available – including a single class for £16, a five class pass for £70, and an unlimited monthly membership for £110 a month.
