St Elizabeth’s community stall

On Thursday 6th June, as part of Volunteers’ Week 2024, the amazing learners and makers from St Elizabeth’s College will be running a community awareness stall, outside St Elizabeth’s shop in Florence Walk. Pop along between 10am and midday to find out more and support this amazing charitable organisation in our local community. St Elizabeth’s College is a Further Education College for young people with disabilities. It delivers positive living and learning for people with complex needs.

North Street vision

In recent weeks, the Business Improvement District (BID) has been engaging with the town’s people – business owners, residents and local partners, including councillors – to discuss possible pedestrianisation plans for North Street. This initiative has stemmed from issues with footfall. We all know town centres are having to evolve to reflect the changing times we find ourselves in.
