We at the Bishop’s Stortford Business Improvement District (BID) like to do our bit in the community. Following the success of our June giveaway, we are delighted to once again donate ten £50 Discover Stortford Gift Cards for fundraising events taking place in and around Bishop’s Stortford before 29th February 2024.
If you are hosting an event in support of a local charity in the Bishop’s Stortford area and would like a chance to receive a gift card to be used as a prize, please email mads@bishopsstortfordbid.co.uk with the following:
- Registered charity name, address & number
- Type of event e.g. Quiz Night, Summer Fayre
- Date of event
- Venue of event
- Email address (to contact successful applicants)
Application emails to be received by Monday 13th November. Names will be drawn and successful applicants contacted by the end of the week. Full terms and conditions below.
There are 40+ businesses in the town currently accepting the gift card, ranging from nationals like Marks and Spencer, Cote, Waterstones and Sainsbury’s to independents such as Pircio, Zelley, Halo Beauty Sanctuary and Heads You Win. Applications after Monday 13th November at 11.59 pm will not be accepted. Applicants must supply all requested information and fulfill the necessary criteria regarding charitable status, fundraising event location of charity. The prize is a £50 Discover Stortford gift voucher, no alternative prize is available. Gift cards must be collected by the successful applicant, or a prearranged representative, at an agreed time from the town centre. Gift card recipients will be drawn at random from all valid entrants. One entry per organisation.
