Located between the Tourist Information Centre and St Michael’s Church, the High Street offers a few independent stores, including a French cafe & epicerie, beauty salon and home & gifting store. It is also home to the beautiful old Tisserman’s Building, now a drinks store for all your beer, wine and spirit advice ad purchases. On the corner of Basbow Lane is the town’s police station which is open from 10am – 1pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
