The festive fun continues across town with the Bishop’s Stortford Ukulele Society (BSUS) bringing festive cheer to Jackson Square (top of escalators) at 1pm, FREE face painting in Florence Walk 12.30-3.30 and FREE hot roasted chestnuts on South Street (opposite Marks & Spencer). Keep your eyes peeled for cheeky elves around town with Christmas giveaways!
Pop along to the BID gazebo outside Fat Face on Potter Street and say hello! There will be festive tote bags available courtesy of the BID and specially designed by local artist Julia Fonnereau. Have a go at winning one of our Discover Stortford gift cards too!

Shops, bars, cafes and restaurants will be open with great festive treats, products and special offers.
Mulled wine and other festive tipples and soft drinks will be available at the Dog’s Head in Market Square. Nostimo, opposite the Old Corn Exchange by the crossroads, will be opening for the occasion selling hot drinks and tasty lunches. Fancy a festive hot chocolate? South Street Pantry will be selling various types, including orange, honeycomb and gingerbread. Special seasonal cakes available too.
