Jackson Square’s sustainability event with fun workshops for all ages on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th March, 11am-4pm in Jackson Square’s Community Space (old Game unit).
In celebration of World Recycling Day, join in with one of their free workshops around the themes of Recycle, Repair and Re-purpose, and find out how easy it is to make a difference and live a greener life.
As part of the event, Jackson Square are also encouraging the community to take part in their ‘Swap Shop Drop Shop’, where visitors can bring in old clothing and items, to exchange for something ‘new’ from other previously donated items. Any goods not swapped during the event will be donated to local charity partners. As a token of appreciation, individuals who do donate will receive a £5 gift card to spend in a store of their choice at the centre.

Our goal is to inspire and educate our community about the importance of making eco-friendly choices.
