The Bishop’s Stortford Business Improvement District (BID) is delighted to sponsor this year’s Carnival Parade and Fun Day on Saturday 21st June, organised by Bishop’s Stortford Town Council.
Join us in town from 9am to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the build up to the Parade & Fun Day.
On behalf of the town centre businesses, the BID will be providing the following to further enhance this wonderful, community event:
- Free face painting (Florence Walk, 9am-1pm)
- Steel Band (South Street, outside Waterstones/ProCook, 2 x sets between 10.15am-1.30pm)
- Six roaming princesses with fun giveaways (whole BID area, 9am-12 noon)
- Bubble artist/entertainer (Sworders Field, BID stall opposite the bar, 3 x sets between 1.30-4pm)
- BID stall at the Fun Day (Sworders Field, 12 noon-5pm)
Businesses will be getting involved too with special menus, after party ideas for the evening, discounts, competitions and summer stock promotions. Keep your eyes peeled!

Please note: To support the event, East Herts District Council have agreed to free all day parking in Northgate End multi-storey car park on Carnival Day. Spread the word!
