A Japanese kitchen inspired by memorable meals, thoughtful preparation and the pleasure of sharing good food.
Our name was inspired by repeated visits to Japan. When we enjoyed something especially impressive, including a truly delicious meal, we would often respond with an enthusiastic “Zugoi!” The expression can convey a sense of “amazing” or “wow”, and it became closely tied to our happiest food memories.
That feeling gave our kitchen its name and its purpose: to make food that brings a little moment of delight to your day.
