South Street Pantry prides itself on using locally sourced ingredients which are delivered daily. Open from Breakfast to Tea Time serving home cooked style dishes using the finest British ingredients & of course at a reasonable price point. Traditional Breakfasts including Full English to Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Eggs, Porridge or Homemade Granola.
Lunches consist of Fresh Sandwiches, Bagels, Jacket Potatoes and Home cooked Pulled Pork Brioche. If you’re looking for a larger lunch we have Burgers, Chicken New Yorker, Quiches plus much more. We serve beautiful salads too if you’re health conscious. Anything we have on site we’re happy to prepare for you…. just ask!
Our Afternoon Teas have been commended as being better than The Ritz, which is such a compliment. All of our scones and cakes are baked fresh daily and on the premises.
We have a large courtyard open during Summer months. Tucked away, quaint and full of blooming flowers it really is Bishop’s Stortford’s hidden gem.
