The annual Town Council Christmas Fayre takes place on Saturday 3 December from 9.30am to 4.30pm. With over 100 stalls, street food and drink, live music and entertainment, and the chance to visit Santa’s grotto, it’s a magical occasion for all the family.
Winding through North Street, Potter Street, South Street and Market Square – all of which will be pedestrianised – the Christmas Fayre is bound to get you in the festive mood. Whether you’re ticking off your gift list, buying decorations or looking for refreshments, there will be a wide selection of stalls and vendors.
As well as regular traders from the Thursday and Saturday markets and the monthly Farmers and Craft market, discover festive-themed stalls with an exciting array of handmade gifts – jewellery; candles; health and beauty products; locally-made jams, chutney, cakes and fudges and much more. Keep the cold at bay with a choice of tasty treats from the food and drink stalls.
Throughout the town centre there will be live music and entertainment. And don’t miss Santa’s grotto at Knight Frank on North Street from 9.30am-4pm – donations to Isabel Hospice are welcome.
