The BID is pleased to be organising another Job Fair in the town centre, in partnership with the Bishop’s Stortford Independent.
On Wednesday 9 November 2022 a number of Bishop’s Stortford employers who are currently recruiting will be in Jackson Square Community Space (located next to Wilko’s) from 2 – 5.30pm. In addition there will be a Jobs Board with even more vacancies listed.
The Fair is FREE to attend and open to all. No bookings are required. Simply turn up and bring along your CV too if you can.
On the day you will be able to talk to the following companies who have job opportunities:
- Premier Travel
- Coopers of Stortford
- White Trees Group
- ABM Security (on behalf of Jackson Square)
- Isabel Hospice
- The Party Box
The Jobs board will also be displaying more vacancies from around the town, including temporary Christmas roles if you are looking for an extra income as well as permanent positions in a range of sectors.
In addition we have two very useful organisations coming along and you can talk to them about apprenticeship and training opportunities.
The Hertfordshire Opportunities Portal will be there with information about apprenticeships – both employers interested in these schemes and students looking for placements are welcome to attend.
Step2Skills will also be attending, they provide Adult learning and employment support, (formerly known as Hertfordshire Adult and Family Learning Service (HAFLS)). They run a wide range of quality and approved courses for adults aged 19+, aimed to help improve people’s lives.
