1) The competition is organised by Discover Stortford Business Improvement District (BID). 2) Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. 3) To enter, participants must upload or post a photograph taken during the Bishop’s Stortford Carnival on Saturday 20th June 2026 in the comments section of the official competition post published by Discover Stortford. 4) The competition opens on Saturday 20th June 2026 and closes at 5:00pm on Monday 22nd June 2026. Entries received after this time will not be considered. 5) Entrants must be aged 18 or over. 6) Multiple entries are permitted; however, only one prize may be awarded per person. 7) The winning entry will be selected by a panel appointed by Discover Stortford based on creativity, quality and how well the image captures the spirit of the Bishop’s Stortford Carnival. 8) The winner will receive a £50 Discover Stortford Gift Card. 9) The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered. 10) The winner will be contacted via social media within seven days of the competition closing. If the winner does not respond within 14 days, Discover Stortford reserves the right to select an alternative winner. 11) By entering the competition, participants confirm that: a. They are the owner of the photograph submitted b. The photograph is their original work c. They have permission from any identifiable individuals featured within the image d. The photograph does not infringe the rights of any third party.12) By entering, participants grant Discover Stortford permission to use, reproduce, publish and share submitted photographs across its website, social media channels, promotional materials and future marketing activity without additional compensation.13) Discover Stortford reserves the right to remove or disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate, offensive, unlawful or not in keeping with the spirit of the competition. 14) The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.15) Discover Stortford reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control. 16) This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or any other social media platform. 17) Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
