Roll up, roll up for our vintage circus meets Covent Garden event, noon-10pm on Saturday 14th September.
Throughout the afternoon, you can expect circus performances including a juggler, bubbleologist, acrobats and stilt walkers, roaming the 137 metre stretch of North Street from the junction down to Water Lane. A fire performer and live music from popular covers band, The Jjarrs, will keep you entertained in the evening.

Hungry or Thirsty?
A QR code will be displayed around North Street, informing visitors of local businesses and what takeaway food, drink and special offers they are running for the occasion, including themed treats such as ice cream and sweets. Scan and see what takes your fancy!
Parking
If you can walk to the event, please do. For those who can’t, Northgate End multi-storey car park is conveniently positioned just a few minutes walk away. All-day parking is limited to £4.20.
Toilets
Market Square public toilets, just across the junction, will be open until 8pm. If you are purchasing food or drink from a business, then you are able to use their facilities.

Road Closure & Diversion
On the day, North Street will be shut from 6am – midnight from the junction down to Water Lane enabling people to wander freely and enjoy the space and entertainment and what businesses have to offer.
Traffic will be reversed on Water Lane enabling important access for the church and businesses. Vehicles can access from North Street and exit onto Bridge Street. If you need to drive into town, Northgate End multi-storey provides convenient parking for the event. All day parking is £4.20.
